WHICH ONE ARE YOU? There is so much technology in this world that people barely talk to each other face to face anymore. Why talk face to face if you can text the person or even call them. But calling someone is barely happening, too. Walk around Peekskill and you’ll here this, “YO TEXT ME,” or “HIT THE JACK,” OR “IM ME.’’ Then when you ask someone to call they say, “NAH ITS OVER FOR THAT I DON’T TALK ON PHONES YOU CAN EITHER TEXT ME OR DON’T TALK TO ME AT ALL,’’ or this, “I AM NOT COMING TO MEET SO WE CAN TALK, YOU CAN TEXT ME.” But, then again, there are some people that love talking face to face or on the phone.

So I’m asking, what kind of person are you? Are you a texter, a face to face person, or will a simple

phone call do for you?

I asked around PHS and these are the results I got. FACE TO FACE WINS. In this school more than 50 % of the votes thought face to face was a better option then a text, or even a phone call. A lot of students believe face to face is a better choice because you can get a lot out more from an in-person conversation. You have facial expressions to see if the person you're communicating with is lying or not. Through a text you can say anything and not mean it. Phone calls also weren't enough for some students, they want to actually see the person, not just to hear their voice or just see their words. They want to hear it face to face.
