FTC Robotics Challenge Coming to Peekskill High School THIS Weekend!
Do you enjoy thrilling, nerve-racking competitions that will keep you on the edge of your seat? If you do, I advise you to come out this Saturday, January 6 at 10 a.m. to support the Peekskill High School Iron Devils Robotic Team. Each year the team is given limited time to create a complex robot that can complete a specified mission. We are eager to see what’s in store for our Robotics Team this year.
This is Peekskill first time hosting the competition in our gymnasium. We will work in partnership with Pace University and The First Tech Challenge to make this first robotic competition a success. Teams from all over the area will come together for an opening ceremony, and the competition will begin. We will all watch to see which robot is able to perform to its best ability and complete the given mission. The energy and tension in the room will be unforgettable as we watch the various teams strive for success.
The Peekskill Robotics team, The Iron Devils are looking for volunteers throughout the event. Who wouldn’t want to help such intelligent creative students on their path to victory? If you would like to volunteer or have any questions, please contact our Robotics Teacher, Mr. Vidrini: [email protected].
Don’t allow this fantastic event to go unnoticed! Come out and support your future engineers, teachers, and leaders of this world.
