A lot of things happened in 2009 that we had no control over
We made mistakes that we did not have a chance to fix… but never really
thought about it
They said 2009 was a time of change but really I think 2010 is
It’s not just a new year but it’s a new decade
For next 10 years I’ll try to make a difference from the last decade

It’s a decade where I grow up and act my age
And there’re a lot of people that need to try to do the same
In this last decade we had people leave that we never thought would go

Also, a lot of

things changed, too..
Our 1st black president is now in the White House
The music changed
The clothing changed
They say my generation is the wrong generation, but I don’t think so
Because for the people who said that
Think back to your time and think about what those people said about your generation I’ll bet you it’s not much different
But anyway, I believe and feel this is a good decade and a good change
I believe there’re going to be bad days, but it’s all going to be worth it…….
2010 is when it can all start
