Peekskill senior wide receiver Diamonte Robinson will be playing football next year at Monroe College.
Below is a statement about Robinson from Peekskill head football coach Frank Bucci:
As a coach and educator, I take great pleasure to see Diamonte Robinson, a dedicated, diligent, and disciplined young athlete, achieve his goal in playing football at the college level. Diamonte is a talented athlete with great character qualities.
This is evident through his respect for others and himself. These attributes were
shaped from the loving support of his family and in part with the many other positive influences Diamonte had from Faculty, Staff, Administrators, and Coaches at Peekskill High School, most notably Coach Anthony Turner, who took Diamonte under his wing.
I wish I could have coached Diamonte for more than just his senior year. I know Monroe College is the first step of Diamonte’s very bright future.
