On Thursday, November 3rd, the Peekskill High School held it’s Fall Sports Awards ceremony. Athletes of the middle and high school, gathered in the PHS cafeteria with their friends and families to enjoy their choice of a sandwich, pizza, and pasta .
After everyone was done with dinner, our very own athletic director, Lou Panzanero, introduced the coaches of our successful sports teams. He talked about their accomplishments as a team, and the accomplishments of a few individual players. All League Awards were also handed out.
After the general awards ceremony, the teams broke up into their own individual classrooms where their coaches talked to the playeres and their parents about the fall season. In the classrooms the athletes also recieved their team letters and certificates.
The event was well-attended and Mercury is proud of the achievements of our teams and athletes!
