In their first home game of the season, Peekskill Boys Varsity Basketball beat opponent Beacon this past Friday in a heated game. It was a great game, and the spirit of the crowd added to their home court advantage.
At half time, Peekskill was winni
ng 38-37, despite their eight three pointers. It was in the second half that things really took off. Throughout the third quarter, they went on a 27-6 run.
In total there were 17 three-pointers, led by top scorers Ramon Searight with 27points (7 3s) and four assists, Jay Cabell with 23points (6 3s) Dan Casey with 15points and 6 assists and Laron Holt with 12 rebounds. The last 3 point shot was made by Morgan Jackson making the final score Peekskill 90 to Beacon’s 62!
